Germany, Imperial. A Pilot’s Badge, Sew-On Version, c. 1940 Republic of II with a British broad(Flugzeugfhrerabzeichen). Constructed of silvered brass, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a German State Crown, surrounding a depiction of a monoplane flying over a rural landscape, perforated with eight eyelets for sew on attachment, unmarked, measuring 45. 15 mm (w) x 71. 46 mm (h), weighing 11. 2 grams, demonstrating all of the characteristics of late period veteran
