- the below pics dont look like a "oil felt" drag to me Wont be any issues that men in balck has mentioned - having kings go on long runs / heat build up etc - pics below should speak for its self - no point up grading these to a carbontex Oil felts are used in the smaller soft bait reels up to the 4000 how ever Cheers , I only had the schematic spec sheets on the FJ up to the 5000 model, working off these models presumed it was carried through to the bigger sizes although I did question that in my original post
